Surf Turf & Earth
The Surf:  I love cooking fish over charcoal - but don't do it enough in the winter.  Summer (well, what we have had of it so far) always make me search out fish more.  These lobster tails are expensive in the UK, given the relatively small amount of protein!  But they are delicious & a worthy treat every now & then.  These had already had the shells split as you see them - so we simply squeezed lemon juice on for the first few minutes of cooking & then added an olive oil, garlic & chilly baste a couple of times over the 15 minutes or so that they took to cook at the side of the trusty Weber.
The Turf:  I had some left well aged rump steak which needed cooking, hence its inclusion. It was simply coated with Angus & Oinks Kanas Steak rub.
The Earth:  My wife had the great idea of cutting a cauliflower steak, covering in olive oil & Marcus Bawdon's House Rub & grilling alongside the meats - one we will be doing much more often.  But yes, a slightly extravagent random Tuesday night meal.
